porting stock manifold, porting/clipping stock turbos

has anyone ported the stock manifold. i thought i might try to get a bit more out of it while im porting the wastegate. also, what about porting/clipping the turbos? anyone go there? i ported the turbo upgrades on my stealth tt years ago and got a bit more umph from them.

I have ported the exhaust manifold and the turbo hot sides .I weld closed the unused holes and ports for non seq running .I call it the rich mans non seq.I port the wastegate hole to 1.3 inches in the process . A couple of them , plus mine , were BNR 3rd stage sets .A good combo to say the least .

ahh yes, i think ive seen your post. you used a larger door for that 1.3 port right?

Yes a larger door is needed . I put a 1.38 inch hole in my BNR supersized set .I make the doors out of Stainless Steel . The surface around the hole must be milled to get a good seal and the hole is bored out on a mill , not with a die grinder or Dremel
