Smile Porting the manifold?

Has anyone ported their manifold?

How do I port it? Which side do I port?

I have a stock motor and was upgrading my twins to Pettit Hgh Flow turbos.....Do you think this would help or do I have to do it because they are high flow?

I assume he means exhaust since he mentioned the turbos in the same reasoning sentence. And I've never heard of someone doing this, btw.

A-
You really cant port it unless you want to go non-sequential.
I tried it and I still have the ported manifolds.....It's a pain in the *** for just some top end gain.

M2 sells there upgraded twins and they come with the ported manifold mounted and no core charge so you can keep the old ones or sell them and get some of the money back. That would be the better way to go.

for upgraded twins, M2 is the way to go. sure, it might seem expensive, but you can sell your old turbos to justify the cost. some people here have SR and Pettit twins, and the numbers are not impressive at all. (well, neither are capt. bill1's M2 BB numbers, but hes got some problems to work out.)

expect close to 390-400 RWHP and instant boost with the M2 units. with good tuning of coarse.
