to port or not to port?
i have 61,000 miles on my car right now, on the original engine, its probably due for an engine rebuild sooner or later, is it worth it to street port now? or should i wait for when i have to rebuild? tried tos earch didn't find what i was looking for

Since the engine has to be completly dissasembled to do the porting, the Rebuild & Porting should be done at the same time. Porting only adds $300-400 to the cost of a rebuild but the R&R labor will cost you $2-3k.
