do the port
do the port...pros are more power...better mid and high end power and more fun...
cons..a loss of maybe a mpg
a loss of a little low end response....but drive by most any rex that doesnt have the port and youll be glad its done.
it wakes up that motor...its the best mod Ive done.

What kinda engine you gettin? Reman, rebuild, j-spec?
My engine will soon be toast and I will be puttin one in soon, but FWIW, I will be having a street port done. In a sad way, I'm almost anxious for this engine to go.
As far as the pros as cons - just what artguy says. I've read an average of about 1-2 mpg lost after a port (depending on how extreme the port is).
