are you putting them on your fd?

the only place the i can find that sells them is

ultimategarage.com

and the kit is 2795.00 for just the front. i know that there is probably some riggin' and modifying that needs to go on, but what gives?

Brakes can be expensive. Some calipers (one caliper, alone) cost more than that. Look at the Mazda RZ setup or Wilwood packages that offer good performance without costing too much.

Look up the Alcon/Baer brake setups. The 12 piston caliper come to mind. :o

$3000 caliper: AP SC680

It's for Winston Cup racing, but one hell of an expensive caliper, nonetheless.
