A Pop Off Valve..Does it work????

Greetings all!

About A "pop Off Valve"

In a few words: Does it work????

Can I control boost creep with this mod??

I have the following mods:

-Intake
-Mid pipe
-Downpipe
-Cat back
-ECU
-Blow off valve
-Boost controller

I just do not want to blow my engine.

How easy to install?

"Protect your motor from too much boost with the GReddy Pop Off Valve. A great safeguard against wastegate failure or boost creep, the pop off valve releases any boost above your desired limit and helps protects your motor from a costly rebuild. Simply mount this valve on the intake tract between the turbo and engine and adjust the spring to the desired release pressure, no vacuum lines required."

Please advise and thanks all!

Best regards, Serge

A pop off valve is more suited to be used as a saftey device... like when your wastegate fails....or you have another boost control issue...or you get a big boost spike for some reason...

I wouldn't use it to "control" boost creep....

If you have boost creep issues... the right way to handle it is to go with a ported/bigger wastegate.
