So I'm in the process of doing the vacuum line replacement as well as the emissions delete and non sequential. I've been following Rotary Resurrection's non sequential guide until I realized I don't want to pull the turbo and make all the modifications it says I have to.
The turbos were rebuilt 8k miles ago and had the wastegate ported by BNRS.
Is it possible to do the emissions delete, (block off plates, delete air pump, resistors, etc.) yet still do the poor mans non sequential? What would I have to do differently?

Instead of taking off the turbos what I did was just tie open the flapper that you were suppose to cut off. So far its been working good for me.

This is what you're looking for its the poor man non sequential conversion and won't interfere with emissions delete.

 

I did the conversion but its a down grade compared to sequential or a true non sequential just so you know.

What did you tie it with? Even for the poormans, don't they just push it open and reattach the clip?

 

The removing of that flapper is what allows some extra flow and gains you the extra couple hp compared to sequential , if you only tie thesecondary open the flap is still there and you will not gain any HP compared to sequentials , BUt you will lose the quick spooling single and gain nothing . for all your hard work .

only real reason to go poor man's none sequential is if your secondary is not comming online , and you cant figure out how to fix it . then having both turbos working , rather then only having that 1 is a better choice .

But honestly the sequential system isnt as big a night mare as people claim using the diagrams its mroe then possible to keep things working as they should

 

If you have twins. It is pointless to go non sequential without doing the rich man's version.

Just simplify and keep it sequential.
