O2 sensor, check valves and vacuum hoses, check plug wires spark; plugs & fuel injectors as mentioned, look up fuel injector cleaning. If you pull the injectors you'll have opportunity to visually inspect and bench test everything under the upper manifold.

Fixing an emmisson problem I just discovered that the air pump has a clutch that engages upto 28xx rpm.

I'll boast a 2mpg increase with the asp mid intercooler.

Guy with 10-12mpg, that's a problem.

14-15 city is normal (or better than normal). Don't expect any great improvements.

We have threads about mileage every once in a while. Most people claim mid or low teens for city driving. A few people get better than that. But it is hard to trust any of the data since many people used flawed methods to collect it (even though it is VERY easy to do -- just follow rynberg's instructions, use your trip odometer to track the miles between fill-ups).

^ exactly. Guys, the EPA city numbers for the FD were 17 mpg....since when has anyone here achieved the EPA numbers for ANY vehicle they've driven? I get ~15 mpg in mixed driving. On the highway, I can get about 20 mpg. Track use is 6-7 mpg..

Once I get my wideband installed, I will be tuning vacuum and cruise areas in an attempt to raise mileage/increase throttle response/increase smoothness.

3rd oil change 10-15k milles? I sure as hell don't go more then 3k milles before an oil change. Be more like 6th or 7th oil change to me, but to each his own.

Idk if its my driving style or what but i have done 120 miles on a lil over 1/4 a tank. Before i got my car repaired i was doing about 17-19mpg. I had a boost leak and I think that had something to do with it.

As I pointed out before, basing your mileage estimate off what the fuel gauge says is COMPLETELY USELESS. Do the method I laid out and report what your REAL city mileage is. I gaurantee it won't be 20 mpg...
