ive checked all the clips and they are all there.I just received my tcs but havent been able to work on the car.Damn colorado weather. The weekend should be nice so im going to work on it.I also ordered a greddy profec b spec 2 so that I can also install my downpipe.
This of course will all take place if and when my secondary boost issue is solved first.
I have to thank Ray Crowe for getting the part to me so soon.He sent it through fed ex 2 day shipping. At no extra cost to me.He ****** rocks. For oem parts theres no place i would rather order from.

alrighty. So ive replaced the turbo control solenoid with a new one and I still have the same problem. So its either the ccv and the control system that makes it open and shut or something different alltoghether.

Have you removed the ACV recently? I've heard that if the ACV gasket slips when you reinstall it it wil sound like a siren and that would probably cause your lost of boost as well.

what do you mean by a slipped gasket? the one that bolts up between the acv and the lim? if so theres bolt holes for the gasket that would prevent it from slipping.
Im not famikliar with how the acv works but wouldnt it leak all the time? Therefore reducing primary and secondary boost? I have a secondary boost problem.

When I had to change out my Y-pipe I initially didn't get the thing bolted on tightly enough, and under boost the thing had an extremely loud, high pitched whistle that got louder and higher as the turbo spooled up. It was a major boost leak...not like a huge gaping hole in a coupler which is more of a woosh though, but more of a zzzzzzing! sound.

both the precat and the main cat are still on the car.
I ordered a greddy profec b spec 2 and I should have by next weekend.I was thinking that maybe it was the precat. But the problem seems too much like the charge control actuator is screwed up.Because sometimes whatever shuts up doesnt shut all at once.Rather it flutters between closing and opening and then finally stays shut or open.Is sounds too much like its a door opening and shutting.Making boost fluctuate quickly up and down and then finally down to 3 psi max.Im thinking that the ccv is opening and closing and then finally shuts therefore preventing secondary boost from being added to the primary's.
I searched around and someone suggested hooking up the boost gauge to the nipple on the y pipe that is on the second turbo side behind the ccv. What should my results be? As I see no boost up untill the transition point and at that point I see maybe 5 psi by 6500 rpms.
This info will be a great help if someone can provide it.

Car is finally fixed.Heres what happened.
Ok so like everyone has seen.Ive had secondary boost issues for over a month now and was having a hard time figuring out what he hell was wrong. The car wouldnt transition and I would get this loud booo sound when the blow off valve was supposed to go off.
Heres what happened. On friday I decided to tear apart the car again in hopes of finding out the cause of my problems.I took off the entire rats nest and I found that one of the vacuum lines to the charge control solenoid was cut very badly. The thing was that by looking at it from the top you couldnt see it.But once the rack was removed it was very visible. Not the only problem I found either.Next I removed the acv and found that the gasket did in fact slip and was probably venting boost.Which would explain why my primary boost was lagging much more.Last but not least. My fuel pulsation dampner just recently started to leak fuel from the top.I didnt even notice the problem untill friday.Im glad I had a new dampner on hand and replaced it as well. The car runs like a champ now.Hopefully this can be of help to everyone.

This was my fix. My solinoids all checked out thru diagnostics but the Turbo Control Solinoid was staying open. I had no hiss from my pressure box(with car off). This was due to the valve staying open.
After the solinoid being replaced my car now boosts great. I had the same symptoms as Speeddemon7. Thanks for everyones help.

yeah.no problem.I friggin hate when someone has the same exact symptoms and then says they fixed it.But then doesnt tell anyone how in the hell they managed to fix it.It gets old quick.Plus im sure someone else will have the same damn problem sooner or later. My advice to anyone who has problems after youve worked on the car.Is to stick with what you know.If it worked before you worked on the car. Then obviously something you did managed to screw it up.So stick with that and you will figure it out eventually.
