ok just did a single swap next stop is dyno tune
im hoping everything is working ok but the thing is as of right now it barely if at all boosts. when i get on it lightly if anything it creats more vac then after geting off the throtle no matter how hard i was on the gas the rpms will bounce till it dies. if i start it and just let it idle and not mess with it it idles as if theirs nothing going on no prob. any ideas im really hoping its bc i need a tune and that's all

need more information to make a logical suggestion...

What is the setup... ecu, engine, turbo...

Are all of your vacuum line hooked up? what about your map sensor?

Im not a "tuner" but I would think a super lean condition would cause that type of behavior...

Your single on a stock ecu? That's a big no no. Car can't even be tuned on stock ecu.

Which shop told you they could tune the stock ecu? I suggest finding a new shop.

im not an expert on this but with a set up like yours the stock ecu should of not even be an option. also, the question you ask has kinda already been answerd, up grade your ecu! even if some how you get the car to run "ok" does not mean you should keep that stock ecu for a single turbo car like yours.

Are you trying to get boost in neutral?

if that is what you are doing you will get almost nothing.

You need to stop working on your car, do some research, and become informed. I only say this because you are going to end up spending a fortune on all your misinformed actions.

NEVER use a stock ecu with a single setup.
You WILL need to upgrade your fuel system.

You've posted little info on your setup and ask us to tell you if it's the tune. Give a detailed list of what you did during your swap. We'll go from there.

Get you some 1600cc injectors, supra pump and the PFC. Do that or you be adding a new motor to your list if you are not there already.

Wow. There is so much wrong with what you are trying to do at the moment and you are receiving solid advice from the forum. Three major points:

1) Find a new Shop who actually knows about FD's.
2) Stop working on your car until you do.
3) Find a new Shop who actually knows about FD's.

Do not drive that car till you get a power fc fuel system and a tune.

You were already told what was needed in your original thread:

https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/questions-reguarding-new-single-setup-what-more-should-i-get-948826/

I would suggest listening to the people on this forum rather than some random "tuning shop".

You have a problem besides the wrong ECU. Take your car to a rotary specialist before you cost yourself several thousand dollars to replace your engine.
