here is a link to see the kit in the car im trying to get the vid up |
need more information to make a logical suggestion...
What is the setup... ecu, engine, turbo... Are all of your vacuum line hooked up? what about your map sensor? Im not a "tuner" but I would think a super lean condition would cause that type of behavior... |
everything is connected
stock ecu and everything im takin it in for a soft tune on 8 psi asap stock 13b |

vid and yes i know i have an exhaust leack from down pipe to mid cat |
Your single on a stock ecu? That's a big no no. Car can't even be tuned on stock ecu.
|
i was told by the shop they can tune the stock ecu.
but is this a tune issue? also when idle its a -.5bar |
Which shop told you they could tune the stock ecu? I suggest finding a new shop.
|
ok well if i need to get one i can go get an apexi power fc i got the cash for it
but i need to know whats going on with the car right now if it is a tune prob ill go buy the fc and go tune it |
im not an expert on this but with a set up like yours the stock ecu should of not even be an option. also, the question you ask has kinda already been answerd, up grade your ecu! even if some how you get the car to run "ok" does not mean you should keep that stock ecu for a single turbo car like yours.
|
ok ill be geting a pfc
|
Are you trying to get boost in neutral?
if that is what you are doing you will get almost nothing. |
You need to stop working on your car, do some research, and become informed. I only say this because you are going to end up spending a fortune on all your misinformed actions.
NEVER use a stock ecu with a single setup. You WILL need to upgrade your fuel system. You've posted little info on your setup and ask us to tell you if it's the tune. Give a detailed list of what you did during your swap. We'll go from there. |
we took all the stock twins stuff out all lined that were takin off of the twins were caped off. ran a vac line from side of the top of the waist gate to the frunt of the turbo. vac line from intake man to bov. re ran the oil lines and re routed the coolent lines.

Get you some 1600cc injectors, supra pump and the PFC. Do that or you be adding a new motor to your list if you are not there already.
|
Oh and a new tuner because the one you have knows Jack shit about your car.
|
Wow. There is so much wrong with what you are trying to do at the moment and you are receiving solid advice from the forum. Three major points:
1) Find a new Shop who actually knows about FD's. 2) Stop working on your car until you do. 3) Find a new Shop who actually knows about FD's. |
ok ya talked to some guys got a new tune shop that knows there sh**
im geting a power fc as we speak next thing im lookin for is fuel upgrade |
Do not drive that car till you get a power fc fuel system and a tune.
|
Sounds like you have a badger hidden some where in your engine bay and he is pissed
|
You were already told what was needed in your original thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/questions-reguarding-new-single-setup-what-more-should-i-get-948826/ I would suggest listening to the people on this forum rather than some random "tuning shop". |
You have a problem besides the wrong ECU. Take your car to a rotary specialist before you cost yourself several thousand dollars to replace your engine.
