Ok I have done a lot of looking around for this one like any good forum lurker should but no luck.

The beeping only comes on then I go above 2000 rpm and stays on I unplugged tac and I can drive it with no beep. I have checked all fluids.

Any ideas?

You talking about the RPM beep? Is it an automatic?

It could be the redline beeper that's confused. If so, it could be a problem with the CPU itself.

May be worth finding a good used CPU or finding a friend that you can swap CPU's with to see if that fixes it.

BTW, the CPU is the black box behind the driver's kick panel, NOT the ECU.

I doubt it would be the coolant buzzer, as it would go all the time and the light on the stock water temp gauge would be on. Same for the oil level sender.

The CPU shouldn't effect the tach. Possibly bad wiring and or tach.

One of the grounds is under the intake manifold on top of the engine. If it is a bad connection, I know the odometer will not operate. Not sure if it affects the tach.

As I recall there are two grounds on the dash harness and they connect to the dash itself with 10mm bolts. Probably hard to get to but if you have a manual it may show the locations.

there has to be more than just the beep if its a ground. check all sensors that cause a beep.
