please help me!!!!! for the love of God help me!!!!

my 93 r1 is misbehaving big time. i replaced the vacuum hoses and the spark wires.

when i reassembled everything and started the car, the car gave me an engine error. i checked the codes and they were 12 and 18. refering to tps (throttle position sensor) full and narrow range.

when i was taking the TB out, i couldnt disconnect the tps connector, so i took the entire unit out. now when i am trying to put it back on, i am not sure if i am putting it on correctly. has anyone taken their tps out and put it back on? is there a trick to it? there are two little iron edges on the TB ontop of which the tps goes. these iron edges rotate with the tps. on the tps there are two plastic groves, into which i think the iron edges go. is that correct? can i use force to make the iron edges go into the groves?

second of all: my car gives a big jerk when the turbos are engaged, and it loses power. can the tps cause that? could it be due to some kind of flooding? or will flooding stall the car all together. or could it be because of a popped of vacuum hose? if so, which solenoid?

please help me. i am about to lose my patience.

Did you turn the ignition on while the extension manifold was off?
