TX Please help me identify this intercooler

I want to confirm this intercooler is what I was told. I bought it off a fellow forum member a couple days ago.

M2 medium smic "made to work with the stock elbow, but it came this way. It's just not as common."

The core measures (W)12 x (H) 9.5 x (D) 3.5 inches

There are markings on the top "H 99 4 C C"

Inside one of the endtanks, you can see other markings.

It's hard to tell without all the piping and duct, but it does look like a M2 Medium that was modified to work with stock elbow.

Well, the core size seems correct and the duct appears to be the real deal, I can tell you that.

I have a buddy with a brand new M2 Medium sitting on a shelf from like 7 years ago..... I can ask him to snap some pics of his setup if you'd lke

sorry i was asking about the actual inlet to the IC not the seperate pipes. But assuming the IC inlet is also 2.75 and that it comes with a duct I'd say you got yourself a real M2/ASP IC.

the cheaper ebay med SMIC's have inlets of 2.5 and there is no duct for them. Now for the large ebay SMIC's the inlet is also 2.5 (I should know I have one) and the large duct can be purchased through pettit. Pettit's large SMIC has inlets of 2.75 just like M2/ASP, PFS large models.

that all looks right, the pipe with the dimples in it especially. i have never seen one with the offset pipe on the IC though.

M2 did them in batches, and they did do customs and one offs so maybe yours is an early oddball, but its still a nice kit.

Sorry I didnt see it sooner. The piping is correct and the core and duct look like an M2 medium. You got an m2, kinda nice having that version.
