i checked every fuse on the car. the relays looks like its all connected. i dnt think its the bulbs bc i dont think my interiors, dimmers on my dash, city lights, and tail lights all went out bc of bad bulbs. only thing left is harness.... but i think the wires under the hood got wet so i think something shorted out...but what?

Possibly the wiring harness that goes to the *** might have some sort of short or is fried or something.

I had something like this happen to me but it was all my lights. easy fix, I replaced a bad relay up by the air box and it was good. But if your headlights it would be your switch.

Do the dash and parking lights come on when you turn the headlights on? When did they stop working? Do you have any aftermrket gauges that dim with the interior lights (or used to)?

sounds like you fried the relay. I would check the switch just to be sure though.

btw..... how exactly did the wires under the hood get wet?

my head lights come on, but the interiors and rear lights dont come on. and it got wet by a lovely hole in my hood, which is from a recent accident. im actually also trying to find a temp hood so i can fix it.

Did you tap into any wiring for aftermarket gauges or so? Could have shorted something or crushed a wire.

Is it possible taht the accident that bent your hood could have put some of the wires in a position to rub through ??? Since it most likely didn't do before the accident and if it didn't do it after the accident (imeadiately) then rubbed wires would seem likely.

checking to see if the relays are connected doesnt mean the relay is good. try replacing the actaul rely in question, as relys are cheap.

check the TNS relay. I had mine went bad, easily swap it with similar blue relay next to it for testing.

yea i think i found the problem, i found the relay for the lights, its a blue one with KA32 markings and it was rusted like crazy. going to replace that and see, but i believe this is whats causing the problems.
