How long did it run before you shut it down? Sounds flooded..

Probably not flooded... maybe run it for 10 minutes.

And today i tok out the plug 3 times and torched them... no fuel there...

The car sometimes studers, it almost starts... and then nothing....

If with accelerator up, it will catch and sputter and stutter, at that point depress the accelerator about 15% or so and see if it will clear out and run.
My stock one will often respond that way if loaded up and flooded slightly.

How is mixture controlled in these fancy beasts? Something seems to cause flooding at start,
so how does it sense how much air is flowing in order to determine the amount of fuel to inject?
Wondering because that seems a likely first place to look and test or replace for a hard starting problem.

It doesn't have a Mass Air Flow meter like GM systems ... it just measures pressure/vaccum with the MAP sensor... little black box on the firewall, near the brake booster and throttle body. I think it says "Boost Sensor" on the label.

If the vacuum line going to the MAP sensor is loose, it will run VERY rich at idle.
