Plastic Oil Filler O Ring

I'm in the middle of my rebuild.

The engine assembly is nearly finished. I'm having problems with the Oil Filler Tube Gasket.

I removed the plastic tank and I don't remember if I put the Oring that used to be in there in the bin or if there was never one.

I have used the complete OEM Gasket set which I bough from Mazdatrix.

Nothing is jumping out at me as the correct seal / o ring / gasket to use in that location. If someone could take a picture of the standard part I would be very appreciative.

Other than this I am a set of turbos away and a few more weekends away from a running car.

This came up recently elsewhere, neither the S8 (or S6) complete gasket kit or just the water seal kit includes it, nor is it shown in the parts break down of the intermediate plate.....only a gasket. I do know one of the engines here, definitely did have an O ring at the base of the filler neck and another was gasket only. I think a set of verniers and a couple of quick measurements may be in order?

i was always confused about this thing, i would always just order the part in the parts catalog, but i don't think we got an oring, i think we got a gasket?

parts catalog shows a picture of a gasket, N3A1-10-424A, same from 93-2000...

Apparently not appreciative enough to say thank you. I posted the picture of exactly what you wanted, and I did it two days ago.

Thanks for the post Adam. The picture is very much appreciated. I was away on holidays last week and this week I'm on a business trip so I've been frantic. Your picture will certainly help me order one.
