planned mods, anything else i should be looking at?

here are the mods i am planning on getting
downpipe, mid pipe, catback exhaust
2row fmic, BOV
apexi fc+commander
intake

is there any other mods i should think about doing and how necessary are they, like injetors or fuel pump or rad??
any help is appreciated

definetly a fuel pump. a rad would be nice
and u might wanna research the fmic before u jump into one of those.
read the sticky threads and research.

i'm not sure how hot it gets in BC canada but he might not need a rad right away

That's a great start but whether or not you're going to need fuel system upgrades depends on how much boost you want to run. The stock fuel system should be good for a max of 13-14 psi. Anything more than that and you'll need some type of upgrade. fd3s.net has some great information you should look at on exactly when you need to upgrade what.

Make sure you get it tuned right.

also dont forget to port your wastegate if you go with a midpipe...dont want boost creep

Have you accounted for tuning in your plan/budget?

What about maintenance? Do you have new, good, tires? Brake system all refreshed (rotors and pads)? Pillowball bushings ok? These are definitely things which should happen before modding the car.

yes, tuning is a must, all of the maintnence is done, the breaks are good, new pads a little while ago, rotors are fine, only 48000mi on it, so the bushings are still good., i am going to do an oil change asap as well and put in some new coolant.

Yeah this guy is right make sure you port the wastegate before you put the midpipe on or put a restrictor in the pipe. This is a must
