Damon, do you know if this tool works best with the parts still attached to the car?

Dave
This is the way I did my pillowball replacement. It sure is a lot easier than removing the parts and using a press.

I just got back from picking mine up, I took the internet add with me and they honored the sale price. Otherwise it is $29.99.
Thanks DamonB!

Gents, I spoke with Ray earlier today. He has extended the Pillow Ball GB until the end of November. So the GB will end on 30 Nov 05! He said there's plenty in stock so crunch all you want...he'll make more!

does the Harbor Freight c-frame press

come with the correct socket sizes or do we need to order any other parts?

this works with a impact or regular socket wrench set right?

Just to clarify, I just call them up using the number provided in the old thread (https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/pillowball-bushings-great-deal-malloy-mazda-now-june-30-a-424191/) and ask for the 6 pillowball deal? Does this include the 12 dust boots?

Not bad at all. I'm not sure if mine are worn out, but considering that my shell hasn't been driven in 3 years, I'll probably just do it as preventive maintenance.

Hi John,

I was planning to do it myself, but my buddy told me he'll do it for 100 bucks. Since he's taking out the suspension parts, Im going to have him do my brakes and diff bushings as well. He owns a mechanic shop, the shop we initially met at on Monterey Road in San Jose.
