Realistically mazda is keeping it. Might as well just go ahead and say not for sale.. The figure the salesmen gave me was more so a joke.. But still I know they wouldn't take 100k.
It doesn't matter if the warranty is any good. Think about it.
1. the only reason to make a warranty claim is if you are driving the car, which means it's no longer a rare, low-miles piece of automotive history.
2. who in their right mind would actually take a 1995 FD to the dealer for service in 2011, with or without a warranty????

Not sure what your point is. As somethings are just universally understood.

You'd buy it to put it on display
The other guy would buy it so he could own/drive a brand new, unmolested FD
Both are reasonable options depending on your priorities
