Piece of history, 1 remaining brand new fd
this must be the same MB Auto FD i saw on ebay a few years ago.... from what i remember the car was NEVER titled... Mazda had it sitting in their port warehouse and only had 250miles on it.
The seller listed it for the sticker price as well.... seems like the Canadian dealer thought he could make a profit selling a brand new 95 FD
This might be the very same FD.

Being a piece of history no one thinks it's worth 80k? Think about that. 15 year old car.
I've also heard rumours on langley having this car sitting outside...
Nontheless the most not wanted fd, but still brand new.
I saw a post here (at RX7club, I think anyway) of a brand new Spirit R. I believe it was in an Australian mazda dealership. Still had the all the plastic seat wrapping and such. I wonder if it's still around - given a used Spirit R itself is around $40K, I would expect a new one to be double that!
if someone handed me the keys to it, I would gladly rock it, throw on the reliability mods, and drive it from time to time. I like the color combo, but that's just me it seems.
Montego is actually pretty sharp when it's new and fresh and clean. It has a habit of turning to **** after 15 years of sitting in the sun.
LOL @ 80.
That guy was probably messing with you. Or a complete moron.
I hope you didnt believe him, otherwise you'll be putting yourself in the same category of stupidity as him.
He would never get 80 for that, ever. Not even 50, not even 40. Well maybe 40 if he put it in a car auction like mecum or barrett jackson. Otherwise its just a pipe dream.

QUIK7: it could also be a "why not" price. Example: I don't really want to sell my 996 but I have people ask if I would sell it all the time. I know US market for a car in similar condition is $25,000 or 32,000 on canadian market but because I'm not looking to sell I just say $45,000 with upgrades. If the guy wants it that badly, I'll sell it at a ridiculous price, if not, the guy will walk away and not bother haggling.
Hey i would never sell my car too but if some idiot comes up to me and offers me 25k, ill say deal in less than a second. 25k is ALOT for my pos 93 vr but 25 is still within "reason". Of course you cant get much money back from mods and maintenance but 25 is more realistic than 80, even though mine is not pristine.
Even of the fact that this car is basically brand new, someone will spend a ridiculous amount of money for one, even though its not even worth it, but 80 is going a long way. 40k is where it should top at for a pristine FD like this.
Hell its not even a color combo favorite, nor a rare model lol.
Come on now, its just new. 80k??? LOLOL
