Picture of JDM front fender WITHOUT side marker installed

Hey guys,

I looked for this pic but I can't find it . I searched on CircuitTheory's FS thread and the pics no longer show up .

Basically I need these to show my bodyshop guy what the holes should look like. Close up of before and after installation of the side marker pics would be awesome if you guys have it.

Thanks in advance fellas.

If you look at the link I posted inside that thread which I linked above, the measurements for the side marker locations are posted.

I dont neede the measurements fellas. Just a pic of the hole. I want to make sure that he knows the markers should kind of recess in the fender not just on top. I appreciate the time you guys took to help me look though, I just don't want to seem like I'm being parasititic of your efforts.

I don't believe there is any other way to mount them due to how they are installed.

Hole is round w/ smaller semi circular wings each side (fwd/back), lamp mounts on top of fender on a gasket w/ only guts extending in.

I thought so too. If you just put it on top of the fender the light wont conform to the shape either. The shop guy just told me it would protrude out ALOT but based on pics I have seen, it looks like it only sticks out a little bit. I just want to make sure that we are on the same page in terms of what the markers should look like.

Actually Julian, when I saw the JDM fenders a while back, thats exactly what I remembered but the pic that ceylon posted looks different no? Whats going on here? Is what I saw the result of the gasket being on there or something?

Do you have the correct lamp?, I have JDM lamp (yellow w/clear bulb) and fender, but I far as I know lamp is basically same as US Spec Mazda 3 (clear w/yellow bulb).

Sorry, my work comp shreds posted photos so cannot see what Ceylon posted.

What brand and type paint are you using for the TGM update

Yeah Julian I am in the same situation with blocked pics. I had to look on my iphone, email it to myself and then send out the email to the body shop hahaha.

I had the JDM lamp but then switched over to the clear lens. Yea I know its the same marker they use on the protege/mazda 3. Funny stuff.

The paint that was used is ummmm, something and something. One of the somethings begins with an 's'. I believe its german. Its funny, I had this exact conversation with Gordon. I think maybe sikkens or something?

hahaha Bryan, naaah man I think they have the right idea. Im just super paranoid. You probably know that better than anyone on the forums (maybe str8ryd to) hahaha. I'm a horrible horrible customer. I feel sorry for them. I especially feel sorry from you since I like buying from you.

Although they have had the car for a long time, I really like the fact that they are as meticulous about the car as I am so I do trust them and hopefully we will see the product of their work this week!

I'm keeping the enkeis for now since they are new but will probably buy nicer wheels in the future. I only got them because they were fairly cheap from Rishie.

hahha you know it buddy. Dinner, drinks, whatever you want. Tour of the floor, no problem.
