I did the porting and cutting out of the secondary butterflys about 5 years ago, I ported the wastegate on my stock twins at the same time, but got some MAD boost creep after all the porting. IIRC I ported the turbo compressors as well. I used about 10 small brake wheel cylinder hones with the long flexible shafts to get all the way into the manifold(they break easily when forced to turn around corners at speed!) So if any of you guys have stock twins and plan to do this, be ready for some boost creep. I had to make a restrictor in my exhaust to keep the boost under control. My profec b was set for default boost at 7 psi and would creep past 15 if I let it climb past 6000rpm. Nice work though Rich, looks great!

Rich, why not use a jspec UIM instead, without the castings for the extra valves? Why leave those valve castings there...you went to a lot of trouble to shave off a small casting mark here and there, but left that big chunk of metal underneath.

Looks great otherwise. Did the entire runner get ported, or just the ends? If you did the whole runners, how did you accomplish this?

I did my FC's LIM because it is a pretty straight shot, but I was unable to do all of my UIM because on the FC it is a very sharp turn, almost 180*.

Kev, he ported just the ends. I will most likely have him remove that big chunk underneath in the future.....the jdm UIM still has the chunk sticking out, just doesnt have the openings for the solenoid.

Showoff, no dyno, STILL waiting for a competent tuner in the area. Should have results soon, but I've been saying that for awhile now.

If anyone else is interested, or didnt get a PM from me yet, let me know.
