Smile Pics of my ported and trimmed-down UIM

I plan to get it cerama-chromed. The runners have been ported, with the openings gasket-matched. I also had all of the extraneous stock metal pieces that jut out removed in an effort to clean it up appearance-wise.

Btw, please don't quote the long list of pics if you reply

Oh man that is awesome. I have been wanting to do the same exact thing, except I'm thinking about smoothing out the areas for the AWS, DT, IAT sensor, IAC, etc. for aesthetic reasons.

So is the LIM runners the same size now? It seems kind of pointless or even detrimental to flow if the UIM has bigger runners than the LIM. Or are you planning on porting those also?

Yeah, I plan to have the DT and AWS sections smoothed out as well. I am keeping the IAT sensor in it's factory location.

Re: the LIM, I'm running a GZ one.

Edit: I kept the aesthetic mods to the top and front of the UIM pretty much, you don't see the stuff on the backside once it's installed.

Edit again: the more I think about it, maybe I will relocate the AIT sensor to my elbow, right next to the aquamist nozzle.

Yank out all those vacuum nipples and tig weld the holes shut. Looks like you may be going single turbo anyway. I've done all three of mine this way

Rich is hustlin! I just wanted to say that your UIM looks damned good and since you've deleted my emissions and converted me to non-sequential, it should be nice and easy for me to replace my UIM when I start having money again and want to get this done, right?

Oh, and you have very dainty fingers

PM me please...

I plan on staying with sequential BNR Stage III Turbos

And I am exempt from emissions (Oh it good to live in Washington)

And I plan on getting a GroundZero LIM (Could I have this sent to you for cerama-chroming?)

I don't know if this info matters or not, but just in case you needed it.

Thanks

~Jesse
