and after:

Now I just need to find a decent alignment shop in the VA/MD/DC area. Any suggestions?

The ride is noticably stiffer, especially on the shitty roads around town. Turn in is much more crisp though on the back roads, and it feels more planted.

The drop is about 1 1/4 inches from stock. Got these from a friend and board member (WVRx7) who refused to accept any money for them. Thanks Bill

This isn't my daily driver so it'll be garaged until I can get it aligned, still trying to get a bead on a decent shop in my area.

I'll be moving to Roanoke VA soon so I've kinda searched around for some good speed shops. Peter Farrell supercars is in Mannassa VA. They can prolly hook you up with an allignment.

If you do find any other good shops, let us know on here. I haven't baught my 7 yet, but I plan on getting one within the month. I can't stand not having booost. I was DSM before, now that I have a real job, its time to get serious.

I'm looking into this guys ride in St. Louis MO, anyone know about it?

Sounds like a good deal if it wasn't totally thrashed after the T78 kit went on.

Tourings do not come with rear speakers because they have the Bose sound system in the trunk to replace the rear speakers.

The R1's, however, do come with rear speakers because they are not equipped with the Bose system.

good luck with that buddy. i got the same set-up... be careful if you get different wheels, I knocked my fenders out real quick. You'll love it though. Ride it around for a little and it will sit a 'little' lower.

No problem, that's partly why I posted the pic since you always see people asking about pics of this and that for comparison.

I'm not planning on getting different wheels for a while, but when I do I'll make sure that they clear the arches in a turn.

So is it possible to hook up 2 additional speakers with the bose system intact?

Looks good.... Red interior, that's kinda rare. (I think I've only seen red in person once.)

Nice and clean, I like it.

Looks nice.

FYI - the Pettit Eibach spring kit is better than a regular Eibach kit. Eibach custom makes the Pettit springs to Pettit's specifications. Thus, the springs are designed specifically for the FD and its unique characteristics.

I didn't know this before I installed my non-Pettit Eibach kit.

Howard Coleman says Eibach Pro Kit is perfect for FD...

It still hasn't "settled" as many people have told me it would. I've only put about 10 or 15 miles on it since I put the springs on, that's the only thing I can think of.

I'm planning on getting a set of Koni Yellows, hopefully over the winter so it'll be ready for the spring.

This I don't know. My plans are to yank the entire system out and replace the head unit and Bose speakers with something else as yet to be determined.

It should be possible. However, since the touring models have the bose system instead of the rear speakers, there arent any ports or holes in the rear panels for speakers. You could either cut out your own holes, or do it the right way and buy the rear panels from an R1 with rear speaker holes in it and swap those in.

From what I've seen, they are the same model numbers as for the Pro Kit. There is a thread in the suspension area about this topic and apparently they are the same (Howard Coleman talked to an Eibach representatives).

The Eibachs do not lower the rear that much, maybe a .5 inch. The front gets lowered more than an inch.
