hey badinfluence... I was looking at that RX8 shifter from rx7.com too. Don't the RX8 shifters come with 6 speed markings? How did you convert it to 5?

the one i bought from rx7.com came like that its just a remake for the rx7 if you like the way it looks i recomend it nice weight and feels good in your hand plus it just screws on like factory

It's from the Japanese and European only version which offer both a manual 5 speed and 6 speed.

its a gray silver metalic color got it at autozone its textured so all the interior trim feels bumpy

I have rx8 shift **** as well. Its really nice. I got my brand new condition one from the rx8 forum member for $40.

For that RX8 shift ****, if I want the 5 speed marking one, do I need to specify that with them, or once I order it from RX7.com, it automatically comes as a 5 speed screw on? The reason I asked, is I noticed another forum member in this thread said his was a 6 speed... I don't want the 6 speed...

rx7.com's is a 5 speed, i was up at rotary preformance last week and saw one... dont worry
