Photo Request: specific engine bay shots needed

If someone would be so kind...

I need a few shots of the wiring harness that comes out of the small fuse box on the driver's side of the engine bay, which has "MAIN", "HEAD", "EGI", "RETRACTOR", and "B2" on it. I'm trying to figure out exactly how the harness is routed. If someone with an engine-less car could take a couple photos for me which show where all the strands go, I would be really grateful.

thanks,
James

All of that can be found in the Factory Wiring Manual
It is located in the FAQ Stictky in the 3rd gen section.

No, the information I need is NOT in the Factory Wiring Manual.

The Factory Wiring Manual assumes you are in possession of an assembled car. I am not in that situation.

I'm not trying to trace a wiring fault. I need to see how this particular fuse box harness is attached to the body of the car...what type of clips are used and which holes they snap in to. This information is not spelled out in the Factory Wiring Manual.

How will pictures solve this problem? Don't you need the parts manual?

Just asking because I relocated my fuse/relay boxes to the rear bin and the Factory Wiring Manual identifies all of the places the wires will touch. It also displays the position of the fuses (from a top view).

I have the fuse box mentioned in the original post, and all it's bundled wires are coming out of it just like they're supposed to. In fact I just re-wrapped the whole thing with new conduit and tape.

So all I want to know, or get an idea about, is where Mazda has taped little clips to it, which I assume snap into various holes on the driver's side of the engine compartment... I want to stick it in my engine compartment the way it is supposed to be on a stock car, so when I drop my engine in, all the connectors and whatnot will already be waiting where they are supposed to be.

I don't understand why people are fighting me on this. The Wiring Manual does not have this information. If you think it does, please point me to the page because I didn't see it. I haven't seen anything in the whole of the Wiring Manual which talks about the various clips that Mazda likes to tape onto their harnesses, which generally snap into holes all over the chassis as the wiring goes various places. I know I can find out which connectors go to what but that IS NOT what I am asking about.

This is the harness you are talking about...right? What specifically can I help you with?
A word of advice....don't sound so "snippy" and you will get a lot more help.

In the above picture disregard the large red and green wire as those are the taps for an amplifier.

Yep, that's it.

OK, I understand that there's a short ground wire that goes to the larger fuse box right next to this smaller one we are talking about. I basically want to know how the other wire bundles are routed, and where the other grounds screw to the chassis (there seems to be 3 which bolt to the chassis somewhere or other.) Also there is a molded plastic piece that turns the harness in a right angle...I'm not sure of it's orientation.

Thanks for the help.

I don't try to sound snippy. I just try to write in plain English, and I'm not very chummy.

FYI.

That "ground" wire between fuse boxes is actually power from the MAIN fuse.

Also, the grounding points are illustrated in the Factory Wiring Manual.

Just trying to help.
