PF-PMS, Purple Box, Etc.?
What is the difference and which is best. I found some used and not sure what to go with. What do I need to know? Whats up with the gold box, purple box, ?

purple box is the newer one...
check on software revision..hopefully it's the latest..
They can be bought for like 400-500 bucks which is not bad..I sold mine for 400 a few years back when the PFC came out. I was a good ecu, but the drivability and smoothness of the PFC won me over.

Can't afford the apexi right now. Just looking for something to get me by until I can, but still want good equipment, of course. Should I go with a ferrell unit, pettit(not unlimited), G-force? I'm leaning towards the ferrell unit because I hear it is more programable. I need something and soon.
