Pettit ECU and Boost Problems

Alright, I've been trying to figure out my problem and am now looking for a specific answer(s).

I recently installed a Pettit Limited ECU and decided now it was okay to put my MP back in.
I'm running DP, MP, RB Duals, Slight Port...and that's about it.

When getting WOT, I would hit about 13psi under primary but when it was time for the secondary to kick in, break up and loss of boost. I thought "Wait, I probably still have the pill in the wastegate line causing me to overboost." So I take out the pill and run an open wastegate line. Same thing, 12-13 psi on primary and no secondary kick.

What do I have to do to get it running properly with my setup? I have one or two things in my head but I don't want to bias any answers.

As always, your help is greatly appreciated guys!

I'm thinking you would benefit from an upgraded ignition. I have the HKS TP and I do not have any high rpm brakeup anymore.

in this case, the TP would just be a band aid for a serious problem

of course, check your plugs and wires first....after that, coils

Wouldnt putting it on another pre map, or getting the ECU mapped.. help solve the problem ?

For now, I have to agree with 92 FD in that the Twin Power would just be a band-aid for the real problem. I'll check plugs and wires for now. It was one of those things I considered a possibility.

It's good. I just installed the ECU on WED.

Does it immediately break up when it the secondary kicks in? Or does it actually try to build boost in secondary after the transition?

Immediate breakup. Doesn't even spike, just breaks up at 4500. No boost afterwards.

Check your solenoids (i.e. start with the Charge Relief and then check the Charge Control while you are there).

If you have zero boost after 4500, it's most likely the Charge Relief system.
