Question Pettit Duct Question & Pics

Can someone confirm that the Pettit coolcharge 2 duct is supposed to look like??

I am concerned b/c one of the sides appears bent inwards/ warped.

psi - you are referring to the other side. So the drivers side bend is cool?

Thanks!

your duct looks like it would cover more area than mine. it looks like it was molded differently on the pass side .i will have to check to see if I have the same kind of bend on the driver side. does it not fit the IC well?

haven't tried. I'd hate to screw it up and not be able to return it...

Hmm - any suggestions for using a rubber trim to ensure good seal with IC. Like door trim????

I used double sided foam tape (I guess it's weather stripping or door trim)... Works good. Might need to replace every few months...

Well, let me say... Without modification, the duct and IC DO NOT mate very well. Mainly due to the fact that the duct needs a little trimming which I have not done...

As far as mating with the Y-pipe and stock elbow, they fit fine.

The setup is VERY TIGHT to install if you dont remove the elbow and y-pipe... But a tight fit is good. I need to trim the top edge of the duct (Where it meets the cool-side pipe), and after I do so, it should fit perfect.

I'm at work, but I'll take some pics when I get home tonight... LATE!
