Pettit cool charge III and CX racing/rotary works intake

I am about 95% done with my build and am looking for a better intake than my bastardized Spector cone filters. Has anyone tried to fit a CX racing/rotary works intake with the Pettit cool charge III/M2 large IC this is what my current setup looks like.

CX-Racing intake is just a copy of the M2? If so then yeah it'll fit.

Here's my old setup with M2 Large SMIC and M2 CF intake.

How exactly does the M2 or CX Racing draw in cold air? From where? Does it just take in air that bypasses the radiator somehow?

I get the OEM setup in that on my 1999 it draws air directly from the nose of the car via a slit in the bumper behind the license plate using a vacuum chamber effect, so it's pretty damn good at what it does. I know that wasn't on early cars because there was no license plate duct so I think they just literally shared air with the intercooler.

They draw air from the side of the radiator.

I don't think the cxracing intake fits as tight to the side as the m2 or srmororsports ones do. Just going off the pics on their site tho.

M2 is a lot of money for no reason. I have owned a couple. Get water injection. That's money well spent. There is nothing like running thru gears and seeing your intake temps drop sharply. Best mod for these cars imho.

I wish I could find an old m2 or srmotorsports because srmotorsports doesn't make them anymore and they are prohibitively expensive.

My luck the CX racing doesn't fit and they wont take it back because its scratched btw they told me they wouldn't if it was even slightly scratched.

Anybody Confirm Fit?

I reached out to CX Racing, they haven't tested this setup.

Has anyone with a large IC used this intake yet and confirmed that it fits?

Has anyone w/BNR turbos used it?

Just fitted everything using cx racing intake pipes and m2 cf box. looks like the cxracing intake box is wider than the m2 but idk. seems like everything is fitting weirdly because of how high the fluidyne rad is sitting.
