I didn't mean to hi-jack this thread, but I'll answer these questions, PM me others.
Lift is a Bend-Pak MX-10ACX which means 10 ton, assymetric arms, wide post. It also has low profile arms. I recommend all of these options. I bought it from some on-line company for about $2300 shipped, the hard part is getting it delivered to a residential address and getting it off the truck! I installed it myself. I can walk under the car without ducking (I'm 5'10")
It is a portable AC unit, bought off e-bay, the garage is completely insulated.
I use compressed nitrogen (tank not visible). The tank rental (6500 liter) is only $3.50 per month and it only costs $20 to fill it up. I can buy a lot of N2 for the cost of a compressor and I don't have to worry with moisture, noise, or the space it takes up.
