Be careful(I know you will) it looks like your lift + car is taller than your ceiling.

The ceiling is 10 foot. I can lift the car about 18 inches hire than in the picture. That makes it about 5 feet 6 inches off the ground.

Your garage looks a LOT like my garage. I went with epoxy floor. The lift was worth every penny.

Now, this is a garage!!!! What would top this? A two car garage with the lift in the middle so there is room on both sides! Hey Alan, where is the air compressor?

I didn't mean to hi-jack this thread, but I'll answer these questions, PM me others.

Lift is a Bend-Pak MX-10ACX which means 10 ton, assymetric arms, wide post. It also has low profile arms. I recommend all of these options. I bought it from some on-line company for about $2300 shipped, the hard part is getting it delivered to a residential address and getting it off the truck! I installed it myself. I can walk under the car without ducking (I'm 5'10")

It is a portable AC unit, bought off e-bay, the garage is completely insulated.

I use compressed nitrogen (tank not visible). The tank rental (6500 liter) is only $3.50 per month and it only costs $20 to fill it up. I can buy a lot of N2 for the cost of a compressor and I don't have to worry with moisture, noise, or the space it takes up.

I can also do this:
