Passing MA emissions inspection!
Just an FYI to all those in need of passing emissions inspection, do NOT have your car dyno tested. I car initially failed MA emissions run on a dyno 2 times. I ran a bottle of fuel injection fluid throught it, changed the plugs, oil/oil filter, plug wires, and O2 sensor after failing the first time on HC and NX content. It failed on HC and CO content after that. I needed to get my other car inspected ('94 Mustang GT) so on the way back from beating a traffic ticket out in Marlborough, I stopped at an unassuming service station in Maynard. Instead of putting the car up on the dyno, he did the 2 speed (idle and 2500 rpm) test. I asked the mechanic why not use the dyno and he said that his rear wheel dyno was down. My Stang passed with almost NO emissions registered (while the FWD Contour who went before me on the dyno failed on HC content). I quickly went home and grabbed my RX and drove it back to the same station. Result, passed with flying colors again registering well within specifications. In fact it registered less than 6 times less that the states limits on HC and NX content at idle, only traces at 2500 rpm, and 0% CO content at both idle and 2500 rpm. That said, I was a very happy camper.

or you could do I like I had to with my 12-a... Find a friend in the inspection station and bring your registration and someone elses car. In my case I brought my moms brand new Mustang, passed with flying colors. Went home and put the sticker on the RX...... Its always good to know people...
