CT passing emissions any info

so the car is almost ready to be legit after being down for so long and coming along way from bone stock to now, my setup currently is a half bridge port running a single turbo gt35r 850 primarys 1680 secondarys. my friend has similiar setup. he could not pass, fortunaltly his was black and another friend has a black one and we knew someone on the inside dont want to get into details on what we did but his is registered now. i dont have that sort of option in my way. i live in ct im not sure if there is any type of waiver i could recive to get through. on the other hand my father does live in the state of mass i could attempt to register it there but im un aware of their laws i did read something about an econmic hardship waiver for emissions there with using just an estimate worth of repairs to obtain such a thing. im unsure of how that works i could of miss read that correct me if im wrong. any info u guys have out there would be great on how u guys did it or ideas.

uh dude you have a bridgeport. you really should just pay the piper

otherwise, install a cat and airpump, put alcohol in the tank, and lean the mixture as much as it can go. you may also fail because the idle speed is too high or the idle speed fluctuates too much

You should have had your senator put a special exemption for your car in the health care bill as a prerequisite for voting for it. . .

You should write your Senator, explain the situation to him, and ask him/her to grant you an exemption. However, if you DO decide to go this route please, for the love of god, use correct punctuation!!!!

On the other hand, you could have thought of this before bridgeporting your otherwise stock engine...

I am not sure about CT but in some states if your car is classified as a show car you can recieve and exemption. It requires having your car insured as show car. There are specifics as to what qualifies as a show car to the insurance company. First check if your state carries this kind of exemption.
