Unhappy Passenger door lock "cover"

So I was lubing my lock mechanisms on my passenger side door and I just finished lubing it from the backside behind the triangle piece and I decided to spray some lube into the cylinder as well, as I go to stick the key in afterwords to get it rubbed in good. The little white plastic door that covers the actual inlet broke in half...the top part came off and fell back in there...I just ran up here to see if I could find some easy schematics to remove the thing. I will try to get it removed and in a brighter area to see if I can fix it...(Garage has horrible lighting......i know, i know, I am working on that). Any ideas would be appreciated though.

mk I have it the two rods disconnected...is there an easy way to disconnect that green wire that runs into the door without removing the door panel and whatnot?

There is a tiny spring behind that door, which may have fallen out when the door broke. See if you can recover it because if you can't you are screwed.

The latch behind the keyhole is weak because it's made of transparent plastic instead of metal as on must cars.
It's plastic because that will let through the light that goes on when you pull the doorhandle.
just make a new one from a piece of metal or maybe an old CD.

Easy to make a new door. Search recent threads where I retrieved a broken key for a forum member and built him a now door for the tumbler. Pics included.
