Parts out for polishing & engine apart. What maintenance would you do?

Like it says - You'll see in the picture that I have a lot of the hard to reach things exposed at this point. What isn't done here yet is the install of my polished Enfini Y pipe - so the old one is getting pulled too. Engine has about 56,000 miles on it (original) and runs great. I'm considering sending out the injectors for cleaning. Any opinions on that or anything else you would do if this was your car? (I am going to clean in all the tight spots, etc.)

I had the Y-Pipe done by Cantgostraight (Jack). The guy he uses is awesome. Smile for the camera:

I tried my hand at some polishing last night and did the hard pipe of my Greddy Airnx intake on the left. Came out OK but it doesn't compare to the crossover pipe.

Parts out for polishing are UIM, TB, Alternator, Filler Neck.

Hey you must be the guy in front me... I'm getting my LIM,UIM, and TB done this weekend. I sent my calipers to Jack, and they came back all polished up. Great guy, as well as great seller. I didn't however take my car apart like you did. It's my daily driver, and I hated it when it was down for 1 week waiting for my calipers to arrive. I just purchased some quality parts and had them sent straight to Jack. Good luck, and I know you will love the parts when they return.

Question: how was your gaskets between the UIM/LIM? Do you plan on replacing them? Just wanted to know, because I might as well buy some new ones since I'm changing out my UIM/LIM later this month.

Seems like you changed all your silicone hoses, if not do that.

FPD if you are doing the injectors, belts, plug wires, plugs, and fuel filter.

My motor and tranny is out and this is what I'm doing. All the coolant hoses are being changed to silicone (not just the radiator hoses). All the fuel hoses and the one coming off the brake booster to braided. Wrapped my entire wire harness with heat resistant wrap and tape. Installed a heat blanket on the fire wall and trans tunnel. You guys know how much heat comes off the motor..I would definately recommend you guys do this if pulling the motor. I will also install a layer of the blanket on the trans tunnel from inside.

Yeah - I had some stuff done by him before. Jack is very helpful and a great seller.
I had a metal gasket between the UIM and the LIM. It was replaced when I did the hoses so it's fine. A year ago I accidentally bought the metal gasket that goes between the LIM and the block - I can sell it to you cheap if you need it because I don't. PM me if you want
