Parts List only.
Parts List only.
Ok this is just a parts list thread nothing else.
I have looked immensely, I have gotten what I thought was some good information on a parts list but it keeps coming up short.
I am going to do the Auto->5 Speed swap for my FD and I want it to look factory.
I want the FD to look as if it came from the factory a 5 speed. All I need is a COMPLETE PARTS LIST please!
I don't want some smart *** saying search because I have but it is all jumbled and doesn’t look ever complete.
-------------
So this is what I am looking for:
-Factory 5 speed looks as if you couldn't tell it was an auto.
-Complete listing of parts.
-------------
All replies are welcomed so long as it doesn’t have anything to do with search the forum because god knows I have but I need a complete listing of parts.
Thanks for your time guys,
Dan

development
here is a start
- cluster/tach...Redline
- center piece for shift boot
- obvious stuff...pedals, tranny, flywheel (can use counter weight with lighten wheel), master/slave, etc...
- harness modified
- remove all the auto related stuff in the rats nest, and I think there is a sensor in the coolant filler neck?!?!

The reason I am doing the conversion instead of selling it and buying a manual is because I bought my FD for $2,500 and got it running perfect in 5 minutes. I am also daily driving it. I have put over 7,000 miles on it in 3 months. I believe I could better enjoy it with a manual and close to 400 RWHP or up to 500 RWHP if I convert her to manual!
So please a bump for a full complete conversion list to convert from factory Auto spec to Factory Manual Spec PLEASE!

that was not was I was looking for. Those people would like to argue the whole time and never get a straight answer out.
All I want is someone with extensive experience preferably from someone who has done this swap before and knows exactly what it takes to convert to factory manual specs. I have already viewed those threads. I just want one person to list exactly what is needed to get the job done to factory manual specs only please.
dubulup
I appreciate you giving me that extra part that was not in the other threads! That is the responses I am looking for not what both of the others posted.
Am I asking too much or should I just stop kicking this dead horse?

People aren't going to take the time to help someone who can't help themselves. If you can't read what people used in their swaps from this post:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/so-how-many-people-have-done-auto-manual-swap-258966/
then you may as well not even bother to do the swap. People will help you, but they aren't going to sugar coat it and hand it to you in your lap while watching the football game. Put out the effort to read the thread to create your list of what you "think" is needed. Then ask people if you have everything you need. That will at least show that you put out some effort.
