I don't like all the shineyness. They look great, but I'd rather powdercoat all my stuff black.

Very nice dude. On my previous car I polished the UIM and brake calipers. Never really has any cleaning issues. A quick wipe... then a big smile )

Can' wait to do the parts on my car, they currently look old and tired.

In that same thread he was saying a majority of the cost was the aluminum, so atleast he's consistant.
Yeah, because it's JDM aluminum. It doesn't rust...

those nipples in the LIM pull right out if you heat them a little it's easy

Also the R1 strut bar is made of steel so you'll start to see surface rust unless it's coated heavily.

the polishing is nice for the money you payed.

Some of James work. There are members that have had parts done by him and as far as I know are pleased with the work as well. Jack

What do you guys use to maintain it? I use some mothers and I can usually clean the UIM, TB, Elbow, and intercooler piping in about 20-30 minutes.

If your going to have the car down, just ship it to me, cover the shipping and I can have the TB and UIM done for $160. I've gotten stuff from Hawaii and it wasn't "that " expensive to ship.

I use mothers as well, usually to clean up fingerprints and grease from working on the car. I don't do any power washing under the hood so it doesn't get too wet unless I've gotten caught in the rain. Jack

Ps. did I tell you the powder coaters won't do polished ? ? ? ? Said it won't adhere properly without sandblasting it (which is hell on the shine) and they say it will chip and peel. Doesn't make sense to me as the stuff can be clear coat painted (may or may not turn yellow) Jack
