man thats nice
That's awesome. I've been contemplating doing it myself - but I doubt I can do as nice a job as what was done for your throttle body. Where did you get it done? Prices?
looks good
I got everything done for $280, I think the price was good for the work they do, the shop I took it to does excellent work as you can see. If i paid $340 they would have filled in the underside, I didn't want to pay for that cause you never see it when it's bolted on the engine.
Also, the name of the shop is Southwest Polishing located in Mesa, AZ, they got the parts back to me in 3 days... I wasn't in too much of a rush, but they had them done 2 days earlier than I expected. |

I think that they could have done some more sanding before they polished them out. Looks decent but if you can't see your reflection then you got some more polishing to do.
I took them at an angle so i couldn't see my reflection =P I'll get some more later in the sunlight =P Yours looks nice though, hehe
Yea I don't want to be harping on them. Just sayin. They look nice.
its just something about these polished threads that gets me all gitty. i regret not polishing my tb and secondary inlet pipe(dont know the correct name hahaha). looks great though, i love it!

truly amazing how fast the same polished goodie will rapidly oxidize...yet another maintenance item...in a few days wipe it off with polish and you'll get that nice black aluminum oxide all over your shop rag
it's a world of constant decay |

Should we just turn this into a roasting thread? =P
