oxygen sensor

Is anyone using a bosch oxygen sensor? Is that a std. part for many cars or is there a specific one for the fd? doesn't it attach to a downpipe if you have one? Sorry if I'm way off.

Yep, I believe you have to remove the plug from your existing O2 sensor and attach it to the Bosch. I think the plug has a bit to do with Mazda's very high price for the OEM one.

Buy the FC style, it's much cheaper. You just need to splice in the stock harness like rynberg said.

Good question. I would not risk it. Just get the universal from your favorite auto part supply store.
