well considering that your unburnt fuel isnt being burned in a cat anymore, it just spits out the back. whenever i'm stopped at a light my eyes water and i feel like passing out.

Same here, only if I sit and idle will I smell it inside the cabin. Otherwise the interior never smells at all.

I've driven many an FC with a full exhaust, and while there is some smell, it's not super bad. I have been around cars that were running SUPER rich - makes your eyes water and the smell won't leave you clothes kind of rich .

Do you have any exhaust leaks? Are the plugs fresh?

Dale

introducing "backfire", a new cologne for men, the essence of gasoline with a hint of burnt oil.

I'm ready to put mine on soon, I can't wait! Maybe this will change as I get older, but I love the smell of any engine running a straight through exhaust. My girlfriend can tell which car I was driving by the smell on my clothes when I walk in the door, heh.

Man....that reminded me of the good old days...before I put on the HKS Twin Power. I used to backfire ALL the time lol. On demand, too haha. It was great.

Oh and I don't have any fuel smell in my car at all. intake, DP, MP, and freeflow exhaust. BUT, if the wind's in your direction, and you're near the exhaust (be it standing, or just riding shotgun lol) the tissue box is in the back on the right side... lol
