my car ahs been down for 10 months now and only recebtly i have been werking on it...my car over-heated pretty bad, bad enough that i have burnt through some vacuum hoses and i need a new engine wiring harness...my Q is do you think i fried my motor? i think the o-rings are toast and mayb one or 2 of my apex seals are broke...how much would a whole new engine cost me? im not planning on rebuildind the one i have since i rebuilt it 3 times already and i think its bout time i get a new one...

If you overheated bad enough to melt vaccum lines and you wiring harness, Im guessing you definately went through almost all the seals. I doubt any of your apex seals are gone tho. I could be wrong then again. I would just rebuild the same motor with all new seals, and you might want to check out why your car is overheating. First fix your overheating problem before putting a newly rebuilt motor and having it overheat later down the road.
Also I dont think you need a "new" engine, as many people have rebuilt their motors several times using the same housings and rotors. As long as nothing damaged them.

could it be possible that the water passages in the block are blocked and/or rusted out?
i would do what Mr. Vain said and check for the usual's first... T-stat, water pump, moving up north, running a 50/50 mix(if you haven't already)
it's all about the little things

Chances are, if your motor overheated so badly that your vaccum lines and your wiring harness melted, your rotor housing is most likely warped. You will need a reman., not a rebuild.

Your engine is trash. Minimally you're going to be spending ~$2300 for a rebuild/reman. On the islands, you might want to get ahold of Dave aka "BigIslandSevens" (https://www.rx7club.com/members/bigislandsevens-30187/) on Kailua. He's your resident rotary expert.
And BTW, how in the hell do you manage to blow your engine 3 times?
