Recently refreshed my pedals and while putting the sensors back in and adjusting the pedal distances, the stopper on the clutch pedal crumbled. Already tried looking through parts diagrams, but it seems like it is something that cannot be ordered. Anyone have a solution or know of any parts from other cars that can be substituted?
Crumbled stopper
Pic for reference
Glued everything back together and modeled it the best that I could given what I had (the dimensional accuracy has quite a bit of tolerance lol). I don't know the first thing about 3D printing so I'll reach out to some friends to see what they recommend. Will update when/if I'm able to produce something.
Don't forget to anneal it. And make sure you orient it the right way for strength in the direction you need.
I would print it sideways.
Keep in mind you'll probably have to print it three times to get it right... hahah.
At the recommendation of my 3d printing guru, I made some modifications to the model to make printing easier. This updated model was included along side the original in the GrabCAD.
I don't know any specifics about print settings other than it's TPU and was printed "solid"
Test fitting:
After sanding, priming, and painting:
It did have a small amount of play but after painting, it seems to have mostly gone away. Considering what I had to work with, I am very satisfied with the results.
And for Valkyrie, apparently this was only the second print

Reason: spelling

I meant three times if you don't know what you're doing, like me!
In my search for this a few years ago I came up with a Nissan part number that should work. Nissan 46584-S0100. I haven't had to try it as I just wrapped the bracket in quality electrical tape.
For those that have a 3D printer, that the modern solution and what I would likely do now if the electrical tape becomes an issue.
