I doubt the nut will be big enough to fit through the turbine blade. Just take the Y-pipe off, and it should be there. Worst case, you may have to remove the pipe bolted to each turbo.

yeah, unless it is a really small bolt it is not getting past the turbine blades. Aren't you putting a the Efini y-pipe on anyway?

I'll bet you have no problem finding it when you take off the y-pipe to install the efini y-pipe. But if you want to try to fish it out now, maybe you could try one of those magnet-on-a-flexible-stick things, or a shop vac...

The best solution was invented just a few weeks ago by someone else on the forum. Get a shop vac and suck that ****** out!

yeah, someone used the vacuum cleaner duck taped through a rubber hose. you can try that or i think someone also recommended using a magnetic picker upper thingy from kragen. good luck, i am also stuck in the middle of my hose job, it seems impossible to finish.

Dude, I would just tape a magnet to a rod or something. If you want to get fancy you could buy one that has an adjustable head and telescopes.......

.

it was actually the bolt that goes onto the manifold i pluckes it out and opps it just slipped and droppes in there i will definantly be carful to cover up any inlets!! dont wanna have to fish anythin out of engine..but i was just woriied it would get past turbo fins and then be a big PITA to disasemble turbos...but i should be fine to get that sucker out once i take off the y-pipe....what do i actually need to take off when doing hose upgrade?? dont wanna waste time messin around with unessasry things

Once as I was putting back on the upper intake manifold I noticed a metal clamp not attached so I set the manifold on the bench and got my needle nose pliers around the clamp. Leaning over the fender, strainng my back I reached and...tink tink tink. I blinked at the same time I shot the clip and couldn't accurately figure where the clip landed. After 30 minutes of finding rusted out lot 10mm nuts, and half melted tie wrap ends, I coudn't find the ******. Last place to look? Down the lower intake manifold. Down the stinking intake manifold, the gateway to oblivion! Somehome being stressed out about demolishing my motor, I had a brain storm. I pulled out my previously mentioned "kragen Magnet" wand (Rare Earth Magnet)and diked off the last 3/4" of the rod and stuck it into a 2' silicon hose. I went fishin'. Three holes went bye befor I nearly **** myself when the magnet made a loud click. I wasn't sure if it got stuck on the fuel diffuser or the clip. Turns out it was the clip and all was well.
So, like in all good prison movies, cover your hole at all times.
