HELP with sticking it to Mazdah service
HELP with sticking it to Mazdah service
OK, let's try this again. Need someone to take a pic of the back of their engine compartment showing the top of the bell housing, where the clutch inspection plate is located (except on *mine*). Numbnutz Mazdah mechanic at Roberts Mazda in Hickory, NC lost the plate doing a clutch replacement and they can't seem to know what to look for to order one. I can't find the correct part number. (thank you to those who tried to help). Plate is about one inch by six inches and is best viewed from the driver's side. It must be considered part of the block (?), since none of the parts diagrams show it. Without the plate in place, the clutch stink gets drawn into the heater fresh air intake and blows into the car -gak! gak! Any help is appreciated- anyone have a block sitting in their garage who want to sell the plate?

Thought I posted a diagram of both clutch inspection plates. The TOP?
They are at 4 and 8 o'clock positions and viewable from the underside as viewed from the nose. PM me and we'll delve into it.
