Exclamation OPINION NEEDED: preauto headlights vs. cwest headlights

I am currently in the market to buy a headlight kit for my Fd and is considering the preauto headlight kit and cwest style kit from the group buy. Let me know which ones you guys think is the best in terms of looks and performance. Thanks for all your inputs.

The Preauto will be 10 times better light output wise as it uses a DOT legal Hella (H7 Version) projector for low beam. I also think they look better than the C-West kit. However they are both ugly compared to the stock pop ups.

the glass man is spot on, pre-autos light will have better light output, but i do think c-west's lights look much better, especially in person. I was in your same situtation but got lucky and got a great deal on some rotary run racing headlights:

Can you post a link to the preauto please? I am considering this since I can't get the R-Magic kit anymore. Allthough I would prefer a dual beam low and an amber fog for high.

Glad you like the Rotary Run Racing headlights I sold you, they would've just sit in my closet for years if I kept them.

Ironically, BoostedFD3S is considering buying the Pre-Auto headlight kit I have that's been sitting in my closet for a year.

I just seem to collect headlight kits and never install them. LOL

Oh ok, those look like East Bear replicas. I prefer the c-west myself (have seen both in person). Total score on the Rotary Run lights. It's a shame there are no replicas since they've been out of business. Why doesn't anyone make a dual beam single? Especially if it could be made plug-n-play. Aren't most modern cars dual beam single light?

the best is still stock i think, but if you are going sleek the best ones are rotary extremes or evo-r's IMO. they don't pop out to make your car look like a frog like the cwest and pre-auto does. the pre-auto doesn't look good at all to me...
