Question opinion on full red interior

I know the differences between the 93 and 94 red interiors are as such :

93 - red seats, door panels, bins, rear plastic, trunk divider, kick panels, head liner, door sills, seat belts in a darker shade of red.

94 - carpet, and seats in a brighter shade of red

What I want an opinion on is this, what if you take the brighter red on the 94 and do the door panels, door sills, kick panels, rear plastic, bins(if you have them, i dont ) and divider to match the 94 carpet and seats, leaving the headliner, center console, dash, and seat belts black. Too much red or do you think it would look good. BTW my car is being painted silver.

sorry. not a fan at all of the red interior . but if you like it go with it. just do a good job. no ghetto pimp colors or velvet dash stuff... (LOL)... its an FD so have some respect when changing things around. I don't like body kits either it takes away the class and style of the FD. just my 2 cents worth

I feel the same way. I do not like body kits and am in love with wingless fds right now. Thanks for your input.

I prefer the 93 look + red piping on the black floormats. That is what I am doing with my car. I do not believe there is a difference in color between 93 and 94. My interior looks like it is bright red to fire engine red depending on the light.

I used to have a silver FD with red interior and ppl would always compliment it-especially the interior. But some ppl would always ask why only half was red and the other black. So I think there is no such thing as too much red. If you do the whole thing the same red as it already comes in, that would look awesome!

^^I saw replacement covers on leatherseats.com that were a near PERFECT color match in the red. You may try and get ahold of someone there and see if they can email you the comparison pics that I saw. My seats are the same way as yours.

I LOVE my 93 silver on red. IMHO I think that the red center console and carpet with red seats would be too much. Plus getting the colors to match would be near impossible. If there are different shades of red that close to one another they clash horribly.

I love my 93 SSM with red leather. I went to redlinegoods.com and bought their black shifter boot and black ebrake boot with the red stitching...and let me tell you...the red stitches are perfect match, but not super noticeable...and no...it's nothing like getting an APC black boot with yellow stitches...this stuff is DEFINATELY real deal leather and high quality!

theres my interior.....93....used to have the all red seats but they were ripped up and with no other option to replace i had them recovered from the leatherseats.com group buy. Also have the redline shift and ebrake boots with red stitch. I think i have a nice balance of black and not too much red.....but i wouldn't want anything else

I think I'd do a similar setup as TpCpLaYa (not to copy you, just looks AWESOME), only I'd do black carpets, headliner, etc. and the only red would be on the seats and door panels. Probably the bin lids too. But just the outside edges of those.

Really not a fan of the red interior, but theorie's interior looks really nice, the door panels at least.

Saw an FD with the red interior today actually out here in CA.
