Exclamation Oops! Left Oil Cap Off

I added some oil to the 7 and forgot to put the oil cap back on. I drove the car for 2 days like that. I started the car one morning and heard a rattling sound from under the hood. It was the oil cap vibrating on the top of the throttle body. I'm not sure about the FD, but my Probe will stall if I forget to put the oil cap on or if I remove it while it's running. Did I do any harm to the car? Should it have stalled? Any help from anyone?

I forgot mine for a day after I changed the oil, too. All I did was check the level afterwards, & add ~ 1/2 quart. I figure there's more burnoff when you do that. Everything seems fine now.

No, it just causes the PCV to open/close and then it stalls.

I've totally left the cap off. Not for two days mind you, but for about a day. The car was fine.
Yeah, Probes are wierd. I shot a spark plug into the heat shield on my hood in mine. That **** was loud.
