check the vac line going to your wastegate to make sure it's not cracked or disconnected and that it has its pill.

7.5PSI is the pressure that the stock wastegate opens at when otherwise unregulated.

How did you change the 'wastegates'? There is only one and it is internal.

There is only one wastegate actuator. The other two actuators are for precontrol and transition.

Which actuator did you change? Did you keep the lines with the pills?

i appreciate the lesson I thought they were all wastegates, I changed all of them, and the vacuum lines are aftermarket silicone ones and have nothing in them???

With no pills in the wastegate line, boost will be reduced. An oem line will have a restrictor (pill) in it. If you are stock, the pill should bring your boost to 10 psi. You should replace the prespool line with an oem line (with pill) also.

The lines to the wastegate restrict air flow to the wastegate making it open at 10psi instead of 7(spring pressure), in essence a non adjustable boost controller. Unless you have an aftermarket boost controller you need the restrictor pills there to boost 10psi

They look similar to these Holley jets but are more rounded:

They look sort of like little footballs, with the points chopped off, and a hole drilled thru the center.

You can probably get the lines from Ray at Malloy Mazda or you can use carb jets (available at most local auto shops). Just get the sizes reported in the link above. You can check Holley's site for the part numbers for their jets of those sizes:

^Not even close, haha. They're just talking about the restrictor pills. You don't need to port the wastegate unless you're going non-sequential.

porting the wastegate is to limit boost creep (non-intenional increase in boost caused by the wastegate not being able to direct enough exhaust away from the turbine)

To turn up the boost, you take out the pills, and put in a boost controller, that is a "variable restrictor"

gotcha, thanks, i'm getting a boost controller soon so i can control it, but I'm not turning it up, just using it to keep it in check.
