One year in the making

Last night I finally got my FD running perfect. I bought her last October with a blown engine, blown tubros, and about a million other problems. I have completely gone through her and now shes done...

Well not done, still more parts on the way (I even have a new IC on the way as we speak), but she is fullly functioning for the first time in over a year.

Damn does that feel good. All I know I love the sequential system.

So I guess just yay for me!

Congrats. There really are a lot of elements which must be working perfectly to get an FD running well.

Glad to hear those injectors worked as well in the block as it appears they did on paper.

Just for my own info, could you forward me a copy of the injector test sheets? (mail or email or whatever)

Here she is. It front end and fender are a different shade because I got hit by a cop the third day I got my car runnin like 4 months ago. I painted them myself...Im no painter as you can see. I just wanted to get some paint on them so I could drive it. Its my DD. I dont exactly have extra money for a paint job at the moment, so she is stayin two toned for the time being....

This is the engine bay...Rats nest relocated to the battery box. Optima red top relocated.

This is what she looked like when I first got her...But I painted the wheels...

And the front at a 7 meet over summer...

BTW for the person wondering what IC I bought, I got a PFC SMIC. Cant wait to get that thing bolted in.

Very nice...sounds like a similar situation I was in. Bought my car over a year ago and the engine, turbos, wiring harness, etc were all toast. Basically had to replace everything in the engine bay and have a lot of the wiring redone since it was mangled to death by the previous owners. In goes all the replacement parts, GT35R kit, VMIC, etc. My car should be up and running any day now, can't wait till the day it does so I can be as happy as you are.
